This classic Chicago Transit Authority station from 50th Avenue serviced the massive Western Electric Hawthorne Works in Cicero for many, many years. It's now preserved for the future here at the Museum. The station is used during periods of heavy ridership at the musuem for boarding CTA and Chicago, North Shore and Milwaukee electric cars.

This is an exterior view of the station, looking NorthWest from the Central Avenue grade crossing.

Inside, we find the typical wood station complete with ticket booth and coal-fired stove.

Walking on the platform on a busy day, we find Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee car 160 ready to board passengers.
