A Message from the Author

First, I'd like to thank all of you who have sent me E-Mail with comments and suggestions concerning these pages. Knowing that people are out there looking at them and obtaining some beneifit is most gratifying. Anyone who's created and maintained a set of web pages knows just how time consuming that activity can be. My work (that part of my life that finances all the fun things I do) consumes a lot of my time. Additionally, during summer hours, most weekends are spent actually running trains and volunteering at the Illinois Railway Museum. When this happens, some things must suffer. Unfortunately, the frequency of updates to these pages has been one of them. For any of you anxiously awaiting the next set of images for "The Roundhouse," or the next photo story for "The Extra Board," hang in there, they're coming.

A word about copyrights. You will note that I have indicated that all the text and images are copyrighted. If you or your organization wish to use the images contained within these web pages for NOT FOR PROFIT or EDUCATIONAL activities, all I ask is that you send me E-Mail to let me know you'd like to do this, and include the same copyright statement and an indication of the source of these images in your resultant work. If you wish to use any of these images for COMMERCIAL or FOR PROFIT activities, also send E-Mail and we'll work something out.

A word to those wishing to include links to these pages from your own pages. Please feel free to do so. The more pointers to these pages, the more people will find them and be able to (hopefully) enjoy the content. No need to send E-mail to ask my permission for a link!

Thank you for stopping by. I hope these pages don't disappoint, and that you find them enjoyable. Happy surfing!

Sincerely,

Return to The Rip Track
